Once a working barn, Widgeham Barn is now a fabulous self catering holiday let, with countryside views and a retro lovelyness!. Not your usual holiday let! Rated 5 star!!! Its a great place to spread out, relax and switch off!!

Situated on the outskirts of Fressingfield, an award winning village in the Waverney Valley.The village has an outstanding restaurant/pub - 'the Fox and Goose', a very well stocked village shop with lots of local produce, a village pub also serving food,  even a vineyard!! And nearby are market towns with lots of lovely shops etc. and antique centres.

 

Footpaths all around to explore and enjoy the beauty of the area.

 

 

Short stays welcome (2-3 nights) and weekly lets, 365 days of the year! Perfect for winter weekends and summer exploring! We are completely flexible on dates, and you choose when you want to start your stay.

 

 

Open plan modern living with a log burner and views over open countryside and lots of comfortable seating and lots of retro decor. 

 

 

Fully Equipped Kitchen, including dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven, microwave, freezer etc. Modern design with stainless steel worktops.

 

 

Large enclosed garden. bbq, outside fire pit and seating.

 

Parking for 2/3 cars.

The dining table seats 6 comfortably, with a fabulous magnifying glass chandelier above it.

 

1950's bar area! (equipped but not stocked)!  Fabulous for those 'cocktail' nights!!! Complete with cocktail and retro glasses, and bar tending equipment!  Switch on the disco ball, pour yourself a cocktail and enjoy!!

Lots of dimmer switch lights, to create your lighting moods!!!

 

3 bedrooms- sleeps 6. Two double bedrooms, one with ensuite, which is  located on the ground floor, the other on the first floor with a 5ft bed and fabulous open views whilst you lay in bed! and  the bunk bedroom, sleeping 2. (please note the bunk beds are adult sleeping size- not just for kids!!) All with views over meadows, which in the summer are full of  happy cows!  All the bedrooms are light and simply decorated but with all you need!!!

 

 

The main bathroom has glass basin, with a 1960's italian design mirror above it! - very hollywood!!  Also a bath, with bubble bath for relaxing in!! Marble underfloor heated flooring!!

 

 

 

The en-suite bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet.  With unusual

glass pebble flooring - all heated!!

 

 

Double doors lead to a patio area and large enclosed garden  Complete with seating, bbq and firepit!!! Perfect for keeping warm whilst star gazing!!

 

Football table and lots of games!!!
